Travel from Banff Townsite up Banff ave towards Hwy 1, do not exit at the highway follow signs for "Lake Minnewanka, Two-Jack, and Johnsons Lake. Brook Trout and Rainbow, it is possible to take Lake Trout occasionally on a fly at Two-Jack. Johnsons Lake Beaver dams are also excellent fishing.

For the month of June expect to see the following, Caddis Flies, Midges,  Mosquitoes, Damsel Flies, and an assortment of Mayflies. Nymphing with Hare’s Ear or Pheasant Tail (Flashback patterns) are particularly effective.
