Hector Lake at Nakoda Lodge is located on the 1A hwy East of Canmore approximately 40 minutes,

the facility is located on the Stoney Indian reserve.

Stocked annually with Rainbows, the lake has good numbers of holdover fish many of which are better than 30" (Fat Boys). Nakoda offers the perfect escape for anglers looking for really big fish potential during the spring run-off.

THIS IS A CATCH AND RELEASE FACILITY, WITH A DAY USE FEE OF $20.00 PER ANGLER.

Month of June major flies-Travelling Sedge (fish large Goddard Caddis patterns or other high buoyancy Caddis patterns, Midge, Damsel & Dragon Flies, Flying Ants, and Blue winged Olive May-flies.
